At MB Wilkes, we produce and stock a wide range of aggregates, most of which are available for collection from our quarry in Wimborne.
You can collect:

While we don’t recommend you collect large amounts of these aggregates, if you are simply looking for a small load, our aggregate collections are the ideal solution.

Small Load Collection Process
Collecting small loads from our quarry is straightforward and stress-free.
- Follow the signs to us along Old Market Road.
- Park on our weighbridge, where you will be greeted by our staff.
- Here, we will weigh your empty vehicle and provide any PPE needed and guidance around our site.
- You can head to our small load bays or the aggregate pile needed.
- Our team will fill your vehicle with the amount of aggregate you require.
- Return to the weighbridge, where we will weigh your full vehicle to work out costs.
- Head home to get on with your project.
In most cases, you don’t even need to let us know you are coming. You can just turn up to our weighbridge when you need to.
Members of our team are around the site and happy to help, so if you get lost or need some assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.

What Vehicles Are Best For Aggregate Collections?
Not every vehicle is suitable for collecting small loads of aggregates. If you want to collect from our quarry, we recommend using one of the following:
- Pick-up truck
- Trailers towed by a car or van
- Flatbed vans

Small Load Aggregate Collection FAQs
No, you can just turn up to our weighbridge during our opening hours (see below for opening hours)
We are open the following hours:
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 am to 4.30 pm
- Saturday: 7:00 am to 11.30 am
- Sunday: CLOSED
These are our standard opening hours, but they may change during bank holidays and over national holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
We can accommodate small loads for DIY projects as well as bulk collections for larger construction needs.
Yes, our team can assist with loading using quarry machinery.
We are a predominantly cash-free site and accept all major credit and debit cards.
